Mission Accomplished

I said here that I wanted to do it, and I’m proud to say I completed my first half marathon this weekend!!! It wasn’t easy at times and the hills and non-stop rain certainly didn’t help, but I finished and I’m so glad I took on this challenge. I started running again 2 months after I gave birth to West. When I started, I couldn’t run to the end of our road (which is not far at all) and I couldn’t imagine running 13 miles…but that was then and this is now! It’s a great feeling to accomplish something you set out to do; especially something that seemed so far out of my reach just a few months ago.
